I had my hair cut today. No, it wasn't planned. My mom forced me to -.- She exaggerated to the extent that as if my hair looked like the amazon and in it lived gargantuan flesh-eating monsters and puny tribesmen yodelling. dotz. Collapsing under her incessant nagging, I heaved a long sigh and called the salon.

The weather was perfectly *peachy* rain, shine, rain, shine. It's a SAUNA out here you dimwits! Not, perfectly peachy. Blasted Singapore weather. My mom was complaining about it too. I told her, wait for snow to come and her face instantly lit up and said "I would love to have that weather all year round" I stared at her stunned and I said to her, "the heatwave must have cooked your brains!" She laughed, then I laughed. Haha -.- .. sorry.

Imagine a snowy negative 14 degrees all year round. How nice, you don't have to worry about sweat, your complexion will improve tremendously from the weather, you get to build a snowman with a brinjal as his nose, you get to buy scarves, gloves and a coat and actually wear them!! Hooray?!

Once in a while, yes, its AWESOME! 365 days a year .... err ... fly me to the bahamas, i'll live there happily sipping my cocktail ... what a life

So, studied on and off today. Nothing much was really absorbed into my brain. Probably over-heated and malfunctioned from last sems exam and bAoc that it has refused to function again ... heh ...

My hair btw is bloody short. You see I have this important dinner on Sunday. Apparently the who's who in town will be there. All the glamour chics and the suave guys. I think it's being hosted by the chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. So, I have to entertain guests and having to look smart, I had to get a suit done,cut hair, etc.

You know, I have had enough of these social dinners or whatsover, when I was first thrusted into such limelight, I enjoyed it with all the beautiful people around and the scrumptious foods, the magnificent decor and stuff but its just a facade. You begin to dread it event by event, i dunno, maybe I have no life. I earlier mentioned that I didn't really like shopping, now social events. OMG! What's the matter with this poor chap. Quick, send him to the mental insitute.

Oh well, not my fault, perhaps i'll never grow up to be a socialite. I abhore talking to strangers and those whom I have no similar interests whatsover. This still doesn't mean you should conclude, ok this guy = unfriendly, move on. I'm still an easily approachable guy and usually the people at social events are adults so really no similar interests and the only topic we can talk about is school. My replies would be YES, NO, DUNNO & MAYBE, with the occassional but rare open ended answers. So, you can actually come and talk to me and get a convo going and NO i'm not dao. I always give people that I maintain an impression of arrogance. I have no idea why ><

Anyway, my mom brought my brother and his motley crew to the botanic gardens to play in the evening which finally gave me the perfect opportunity to utilize the peace and serenity of the house to maximize my ability to absorb more knowledge into my already over-flowing brain. whooppee.

So, my day is almost over, I'm going to hit back to my lecture notes and get my brain (sigh) cracking again. Ole ~
