FIFA World Cup 2006 Germany - Narrated by Bono from U2
Ahh. The World Cup fever is upon us now. Wherever you go, you will definitely chance upon poor souls infected with the soccer hype virus. Nah, it shouldn't be called a virus, soccer actually relieves stress for some people. You forget about your work, your worries, you just want to watch soccer and nothing can stop you from that. Wait, now it sounds like a virus. Sigh, watching soccer is a double-edged sword I dare say. Haha
The World Cup will be a strongly contended one. Yeah. Brazil, Argentina, England, Italy, Germany and France are the possible six who will reach the semi-finals. Lol, yes france. They are a notch lower than the likes of Brazil but I really believe that France does have a chance to reach the top 3. After all, there's Zidane and Thierry you know. Haha. You never know. They were world cup champions too. Haha.
Well, soccer punters and mathematical scholars are placing their odds on Brazil (duh) and Italy. I personally (well for the first time) think that England can have a shot of acquiring the title of champion if they play hard and make no costly errors. I've begun to take a liking on Germany's play. Their match with Poland was a superb one and I wanna see what more the Germans can pump out! Ooh! Talking about germany, I want to get the germany adidas jacket. I've been scouring high and low for that bloody jacket and I just can't find it.Argh. It is white in colour and on the chest are the colours of germany slashed horizontally across. I want it!
The upcoming matches will be great to watch. The Czechs and the Italians. Italy will nab it without a doubt. Japan and Brazil. Brazil. Haha, I'm sure of it, but haha, who knows this world cup will be the one where a unknown country will beat the odds and win the cup. Haha, South Korea anyone? ><
Bleah, well, today I had group project meetings in the morning and i was a a bloody hour late la! I forgot that we were meeting at 10 am and not 11 -.- ... Sigh. Anyways, we got most of our layout details done. We managed to get our most of the designs finalized. Tomorrow, we'll begin to build up our MFS portfolio as deadline is just a mew week away.
Had lunch at Bukit Timah Plaza with my mates and then we sauntered around to look for materials for our portfolio. Didn't manage to get anything and then we scoured ahead to eh! I forgot the name of the mall >< It's somewhere in Clementi, beside the MRT station if i'm not wrong o.o .. yeap.
After that, I had BAS meeting back at school. We were discussing and planning for our annual prom. Nothing to coneal about as this event is well ALMOST mandatory for the school of BA. We had a lengthy discussion and brainstormed on ideas for our theme this year. I'm pretty much happy with the ideas that we cooked up today. We will definitely taking a new direction this year and revamping the concept of previous proms. Just wait and see. Heh heh. This goes with most of the events that we are having this year too =)
We went to Al-Ameen to eat later at night. Joc, PeiFoo, Jenny, Poon and me. I stubbornly ordered fried rice knowing that I had a bad sorethroat, sigh, but at least Mr. Poon kept on nagging me and I had an Apple Juice (lol) instead of a Milo T-Rex >< ... poo ...
Home now and finishing up the remaining promotional materials for our MFS project. Haha. After that, I'll be off to la-la land I guess. It's been a grueling day but all worth it. Hmm, less than 2 days actually to my 19th birthday. I'm happy that I'm growing up but sad that I'm leaving 18. I really miss my eighteen-hood. It was the best year of my life so far. Haha.
Well, to everyone, good night =) To world cup fans, have fun being glued to the TV ><
