So, I slept at 6:30am this morning and was supposed to wake up at 7am to get ready for my haircut appointment. I ended waking up at 8:15 and I had to end up cabbing down there, unbathed. ><

My hair is godamn short now. Okay lar. I'll miss my pom poms but I feel so much fresher and lighter. HEH HEH!

Anyways, I went back home and decided to gym out a bit before continuing to pack my luggage. We finally managed to leave the house at 3 plus and reached the airport at 4. We went through immigration and I got myself Niel Humphrey's final book at the bookshop at the airport. So sad he has to leave for down under. Singapore needs more people like him. Haha. If you got the time for satirical or lame humour, go get his book at any major book stores now!

Anyways, OOH! I took a pic of the airplane from the viewing gallery before I boarded my plane. See see!



My plane's not the one in the centre but the one on the right. Lol. Oops. Thanks for everyone who called to say bye! Lol, it makes 5 days seem like I'm going for an eternity! I'm so going to miss you guys larh. Lol.

The plane ride was great although I had problems trying to watch the shows larh. You see the distance between the entertainment console and my seat. I managed to squint through the movie, Just My Luck. HEH HEH. OH! I was so greedy that I requested for another main course. Lol. Just too hungry. I'm still in puberty!



Anyways, I reached the airport in Jakarta and the weather was fine. Night was falling. We were bored so Mom and I took a pic while we waited for the luggage to roll out of the belt.



We reached the Four Seasons an hour later by car and it was night time already. I was amazed by Jakarta's speed of progress. There were construction sites everywhere and the city centre was changing rapidly! OMG! Lol! Everything's changed larh.

It seems that the current government is rather competent. President Susilo Bambang has definitely excelled well with his leadership ability as compared to his other ... erm ALMOST incompetent >< oops ... predecessors.

Anyways, after checking in at the Four Seasons, we went to the Pan Pac to have dinner at, -.- for god sakes, a Jap restaurant. LOL! My paternal grandparents and my first uncle and auntie was there.

I was bored so I took a photo with my grandparents during dinner. Whee. There they are.



I got bored again during dinner and shot my mom. She reads my blog sometimes so I'm gonna suprise her with this! Haha! HEY MOM =)



FYI: Major Hotels in Jakarta have extensive security checks. Well, in my opinion such checks and efforts will not really deter any unwanted dangers. The officers attack your vehicle, 5 or 6 of em at a time and although they look intimidating, they smile at you. They just briefly look at your car and skim through the exterior of the car and let you through the GATES. LOL.

Furthermore, before you can enter the lobby of the hotel, you have to walk through screening panels like the ones you see at the airport. OMG! That's too much larh.

But the good thing is that such security checkes provide guest with a better sense of security in a predominantly muslim nation where the unpredictable can happen. If you guys can recall the Marriot Bombing incident a few years back.



Well, other than just TRAVELLING alot today, I didn't do much else. I'm resting in my room now with just one hour of available internet, costing me 10 bucks! Still alot of money lei.

I'm going to turn in now cause tomorrow is the big day. I have to be up at 7 AM AGAIN! Arghhh! Somehow, I feel happy for my cousin but when it comes to wedding; however, unecessary and childish family political complications will definitely rear its ugly head. I dunno what will happen tomorrow, I don't want to know ><
