Penalties - World Cup 2006 Finals (France - Italy)

Haha, the Weekend has been a whirlwind event! Saturday, me and the third years from maincom, together with joanne went to recee at hotels for our final year graduation prom. We scoured various hotels from the Oriental, the Grand Hyatt, Orchard and even Traders' ... We started at 9 in the morning! NINE AM! On a SATURDAY! Furthermore, our appointment only lasted less than 20 minutes, LOL!

After the Oriental at around 11:30 am, we headed for Marina Square and spend the rest of the afternoon, bowling, eating loads of ice-cream and eating KFC. I think I kept on eating my stomach went bloated. Haha. Yeah, I'm being a glutton. But, what can i do, my stomach is always growling for food. Heh heh.

We headed on for the Inter Continental and lastly the Orchard Hotel before I headed for Cine to catch Superman for the third time after its release with my family. Haha. After the movie, we went for late dinner at the Mandarin. Of course, I had chicken rice again. Ya! Chicken freak, I confess!

Sunday was a hectic day too. My extended family had lunch at Crystal Jade Palace at Paragon and most of my cousins from my paternal side of my family were there. Steph, Christina, Tiffany, Geo, Kun Liang and there was Grace and Vera too. It was also Kun Liang's birthday and wished him a sweet sixteen. He's growing up so fast la!

The few of us headed down to Sony to see some gadgets (KL and me was debating over which brand was better) and then to Adidas to see some cool jackets. I got myself two new jackets and a couple of shirts, haha ... Adidas freak man la me! I'm getting addicted to Adidas already ah! Haha!

Later in the evening, I went to Holland V again to see tha Husky that my mom has fallen in love with. The husky was so seriously adorbale but, then again, all puppies are adorable I guess. My mom decided not to get her but maybe consider another one next month when we move in to our new house.

We were supposed to have dinner at my grandma's at night but I decided to forego it and rushed home to finish of my Investment project as it was due on Monday. I worked all the way until around four as I was glued to the finals of the world cup. I was so damn sad that France lost man =( Zidane really played well during the match but I'm still dumbfounded by his actions during the final and crucial minutes of the match! But, Italy did play well and they should be commended as well. I lost $20 bucks man but, well, its just for the fun of it and hey, it only happens every four years. Who knows, I may head down to South Africa for the next world cup!
